My Formal Apology to CG

When we all got the news of the new “Eras” content cadence and structure, I wrote a fairly pessimistic comment about how we were being sold back the materials we lost from the Assault Battle in the new battle pass.

Now that more information has been released, it seems that we will in fact be getting the same rewards from the free battle pass that we would have gotten if the AB stayed. As such, I feel as though I owe CG an apology for jumping the shark on this one. If you don’t care or think I am a shill, ignore or downvote me. I’m doing this out of a sense of responsibility, as I do not feel I was fair to CG by expecting the worst, regardless of their perceived track record.

Capital Games, I apologize for jumping to conclusions regarding the gear economy and your intentions with the new content structure.

The rest of the changes you mentioned are nothing short of amazing and have been desperately needed for a while, so I am glad to see that they are coming. I am looking forward to the next Era that SWGoH is entering. Now we just need Jar Jar to come back around…

I am still not a fan of how the P1/Dorito situation was handled, but I understand that this is a game and you have to do what you think is best for its longevity, even if it seems baffling to the rest of us.
