[2019] DON'T SPEND. IF YOUR ACCOUNT GETS COMPROMISED EA TELLS YOU THEY CAN'T/WON'T HELP AND YOU NEED TO GO POUND SAND.

So I have an issue with an account that had been linked from an android to an apple device. Things have been fine with it until apparently someone got some account info somewhere. Now they are trying to TAKE OVER my account. For the last few days I have contacted ea and they, for some reason, think that game information is transferred ans saved to Facebook and that they can't possibly affect or see anything.

The ONLY time Facebook came into play was to link one account from Android to ios. There have been NO logins to that Facebook except me. Clearly the information stolen ISN'T Facebook.

But I refuse to believe that we can spend THOUSANDS on these accounts and if anything happens ea is just of the mind of "well we got our money and you can get bent. It's a surprise mechanic"

You need to ASSIST your customers and show us that our investments aren't going to be thrown away. If you gave a damn about your customers you'd give a damn about the security surrounding these accounts.
