[2019] Google Play Store won't let me update device that is not on the Legacy devices list.

I have a Xiaomi Redmi 4A with Android 7.1.1 and despite it not being on the list and having an up-to-date OS, the update appears to be incompatible with my device.

Is this an error on Google Store's side or is the list of Legacy devices incomplete?

Also, if any other Xiaomi user is experiencing this feel free to comment below. I did a bit of digging in the EA forums and found an unresolved (and ongoing) thread for the same issue with other Xiaomi devices.

Apologies for the inconvenience here. This should be resolved now. As time allows, would you please attempt to install via the Google Play Store again?
