Just fought a GL rey team, she started the ult, giving the 1 dmg per hit thing. Then on her next turn, she used her based but with a super broken animation, walked up and moved both her sabers in the air in an X, and then went back.
So no big AOE, and they kept the damage reduction. Yet, her ult counter reset. So, at her next turn, she got to pop her ult again. So 3 turns straight from her with team taking 1 dmg.
