Game Update 7.6 is coming December 10th!

Hello everyone!

We will be taking servers down December 10th to deploy Game Update 7.6!

• Time: 7am CT / 1pm UTC
• Estimated downtime: 5 hours
  • We are estimating 5 hours of downtime due to the releasing inactive character names. 

Other things to note!

• The Rename: Character Name Consumable item will be 90% off from December 10 to December 17. 
• Character re-customizations will be 90% off from December 10  to January 7, 2025
• The 50% off Collection Unlocks sale will run from December 13 to January 7, 2025.
• Life Day items (except the Tirsa mount and Ornate Robes) will be 25% off from December 10 to January 7, 2025. 
• The Double XP event will run from December 22, 2024 to January 2, 2025.
• More popular items on the Cartel Market will rotate through the Daily Sale with discounts between 50-80% off throughout the holiday season.

Hey everyone, 

7.6 patch notes are now live. You can read them here. 

A few call outs: 

• The Dynamic Encounters PTS incentives will be granted at 7.6 launch, however, the XR-53 PTS title incentives will be granted in a future update. 
• Due to the modernized assets that will be going into 7.6, players should expect a larger download for this patch. 
• The DE translation for the following patch notes are missing and will be added tomorrow. 
  • Fixed an issue that caused faint texture lines to appear on light terrain areas on Ilum.
  • The following changes have been made regarding GTN messages:
    • GTN messages will expire in 14 days (down from 30), for "final" sale notifications (i.e. auction ended)
    • GTN messages for partial sale notifications will expire in 2 days
    • Opening (reading) a GTN message will cause it to expire in 1 hour
  • Mounts and weapons now maintain proper lighting when traveling between different areas.

I will update this thread accordingly as we head into 7.6 launch!

Hey everyone, 

We will be publishing a known issues list shortly, but wanted to call out a few things ahead of time as we are seeing reports about them: 

• Kai Zykken’s MK-85 Log Mount, the First of Many, and First Among Veteran PTS titles are not being granted upon log in to players who completed the achievements during PTS. 
• Tier 11 items cannot be deconstructed.
• The mission to defeat The Propagator Core XR-53 only completes for four players within a group.
• Relentless Replication is missing from the Epic Enemies Achievement category.
• The incorrect Stronghold Bonus is being applied for some characters.

Hey everyone, 

We're looking to get another patch out sometime tomorrow to fix various bugs, some of which are blocking points of progression for players. Below are the patch notes for 7.6a. 

General 

• Tier 11 items can now be Deconstructed as intended. 
• The Stronghold Conquest Bonus is now calculated properly.  
• Black hair no longer appears green or has a green tint when being viewed by other characters. 

Achievements 

• Defeating the Propagator Core XR-53 in Story and Veteran Modes will now grant Achievements as intended. 

Dynamic Encounters

• [Hoth Dynamic Encounter: Pirate Problem] The boss now spawns properly allowing multiple players to complete the encounter. 

Missions

• [Agent Storyline: High Society] Players can now click on the terminal to progress through the mission. 
• [Black Hole Weekly: HEROIC 2+] Players can now interact with the panels in the pipe room. 
• [The Memory Heist] Players can now interact with the Override Station Terminal.  
   

I do not have an exact time for the patch, but we are estimating bringing down servers tomorrow, December 12, for approximately one hour. Once I have more details, I'll update this thread.

Hey everyone!

Following up on 7.6a fixes that went out this morning. The Stronghold Conquest Bonus fix did not apply to all characters, so we are investigating this issue further. If you are a player who is impacted by this issue, can you please use this thread to report the following: 

• List the Strongholds in your possession
• Confirm how many expansions you have unlocked for each
• We are especially interested in impacted characters who have the Mek-Sha and Fleet Apartment Strongholds

Additionally, we are instigating an issue with the invisible pillars in the Eternity Vault Encounter for Veteran Mode. This will be added to the Known Issue list. 

Wil keep you all updated as we get more info.
