I wanted to post a reminder on the best ways to utilize the forums. On this platform, players can:
- Help other players, especially if they are new to the game
- Submit bug reports
- Talk about the game in general
- Talk about anything Star Wars in general
We provide a variety of sub-forums that allow players to generate discussion that covers everything SWTOR.
However, when it comes to reporting problematic behavior, there are several ways to do that which are listed here. Please understand that the team that investigates these tickets will not provide investigation details or what action has been taken against the reported account for privacy reasons. The forums are not an appropriate platform to openly discuss problematic behavior as it can lead to witch hunts, harassment, brigading, etc… I encourage all players to use the proper reporting tools.
When it comes to forum reports, if a reporter would like to follow up on a report they created or provide additional context to it, they are free to message me or the Community Team account.
That said, when it comes to the in-game reporting tool, players will see that their tickets are either Open, Locked, or Closed. There have been a handful of reports of the player portal not displaying reports properly and the ticket appears to be open even when action has been taken. The appropriate teams are aware of this issue and are working on a solution for it.
