[2023] Game Update 7.3.1 launching September 6th!

Hello everyone, 

Happy to announce that we are preparing to launch Game Update 7.3.1 next week! Details below: 

• Date: September 6, 2023
• Time: 7am CT/12pm UTC
• Expected downtime: 4 hours

We'll have more in-depth details to share about Galactic Seasons 5 tomorrow. We will publish the patch notes here on September 5th. So keep an eye out on the Dev Tracker and socials for when all that info goes live. 

I'll be using this thread to post updates on 7.3.1's launch and info leading up to it. After 7.3.1 is live, I'll open the thread.

Good morning, everyone. 

Happy 7.3.1 patch day! We'll be taking down the servers in approximately 15 minutes. Estimated downtime is 4 hours to deploy 7.3.1. 

Hello again, 

All the servers are now back online. A couple of things to note: 

• We will be publishing the 7.3.1 specific known issues list here shortly. Please keep in mind that we will update it as we get more info, so you will want to keep an eye on it/bookmark it. We will also be publishing a secondary known issues post that lists KIs not related specifically to 7.3.1 but have been reported and are being tracked. 
• Secondly, to optimize player experience, we recommend that players who have been waiting in the server list window while waiting for the game to update to log out of the game completely and log back into the launcher/Steam to ensure everything is updated properly.
