[2023] Heartsteel has ruined me as a player

I'm a diamond sh*tter, I am a being of greed, and Mr Krabs doesn't hold a candle to me.

With Mercenaries, Underground and other Econ traits there is a very clear moment where you go "Hey I'm going to cash out and roll down now" but heartsteel I've become a heroin junkie. I keep injecting that sweet sweet sett/phel nectar into my gullet for another hit, a bigger reward, a fatter cashout.

Heartsteel has completely destroyed my ability to make smart decisions. I look at every spat and wonder if I can try to hit 9 heartsteel. I spit roast Aphelios with Kante and Sett while Senna and Ekko watch.

Heartsteel has ruined me.
