Hello everyone, ive seen a lot of posts talking about the new update, and i figured i should probably jump in. Imma be all over the place on this one so bear with me.

First the mount quest.

The NCP says they need a Minothor to "Keep the breed going" however they will accept a Minothor with no fert. I scammed this dude and dont even feel bad.

The mount.

When i was going around collecting the stickers i realized that in order to interact with something it kicks you off your mount, not only that but in the time you are off your mount and you get back on you can accidentally encounter a tem. Weird

The stickers.

Ok this is a cool concept but y did you guys implement this like it is? Limited spawns on the map with a questionable color to see, and forcing players to trade in order to get PvP gear items? You do realize that in order for this to work the people who complete their collection have to give their stickers away, or players need to be willing to make trades that are neutral to them and beneficial to other people. Now you have a bunch of players that are looking for 3 stickers sitting on a pile of 30 and unwilling to trade. Did you give each sticker the same chance to spawn? Did you even think about the fact that people were going to have to make spreadsheets to figure it all out? Thank goodness your community is so helpful. Between Tem.team, Tem tracker and the sticker spreadsheet going around, youd be better off hiring out of your community then making systems yourself. At least the community has a good idea of what's hurting the game and ideas to fix it.

Dojo wars.

Ok, but y is it so clunky?1500 per challenge? ok, so theoretically is you are perfect (meaning your cheese happens to deal with whatever is on the opposing team) itll cost you... 4500 per dojo 6 dojos... 27000 pansun? And if you are amazing and ace rematches then that number minus the 64k comes up to... 37k. Net 37 k per week, with a time investment of id say a solid 10 hours maybe more. All for 100 5% encounters with no increased rates and 6 hotfixes (that are still random)? You do realize that your probably gonna need at least 30 hotfixes per luma, thats a 6 week per perfect luma times one hundred? 600 weeks? im supposed to play for 7 years just to perfect lumas? COME ON! Clash of Clans upgrade times and costs look more reasonable than this! And they actually know how to balance their combat! which brings me to my last point.

Balance.

You do realize that the only thing holding stall in check was hyper aggro, right? and then you proceeded to nerf 1st turn moves without changing (if anything with the new gears buffing) Stall? Suddenly Stall is everywhere, I WONDER WHY! Do you whats gonna happen now? Think hard Crema I might lose you on this one... Now, if stall is good, what do you think the next dojo club teams are going to look like? and what will that mean for the people trying to get into dojo park? Awful, bulky teams trying to take the game to turn 30 for EVERY challenge. Mark my words in a week EVERYONE is gonna be complaining about stall. Stall was always too good, but hyper aggro was good enough that it could be dealt with. Now you removed stalls main counter. Good job, but you also need to tweak stall now. And before you tell me "well you just don't understand the game" I have like 375 wins and 1800 hours, I understand a thing or 2 about this game by now.

Identity.

Now everyone is complaining that the MMO identity of this game is killing it. Personally, I don't care what Temtem calls itself. Its supposed to be a game, and games are supposed to be fun. So whoever pushed the MMO grindiness of this game, Whoever gave Gyalis Heat up in the beginning and had Protector Kinu proc forever, Whoever made Naga DA be broken in Kisiwa, whoever designed Momo and Koish before they were nerfed, Whoever made Loatle Voodoo do 100% in the early days, whoever made Oceara have AWW, whoever invented Cycrox and made Neurotixins hit toxic types regardless of the poison status, whoever thought chimurian and hazrat were balanced in their .8.3 state, whoever seperated hacks and hotfixes, whoever came up with the moves Magma Cannon and Petrify, Whoever made Bait and Slingshot work the way they used to, whoever made the lair and fishing rewards have a chance to give candies, Whoever wrote the back half of the story. You sir, need a serious time-out.

I am sick of every new mechanic in this game being unpolished garbage. With the time between updates you'd think things would be a little cleaner, nah. You community engagement is laughable at best. You have one mod running damage control across all of the forums, and where are the rest of you? "Oh, we aren't gonna say when updates come out because we feel that deadlines are too much pressure" Really? Why bother? Its like when a toddler picks up 2 pots, walks into the living room, stares their mother dead in the eye, and proceeds to bang them together as loud as possible after being told multiple times not to. At this point you know what the community is saying, and you deliberately but out content that goes against that. And you actively hide from engaging the community.

I used to love this game, and when I tell people I have 1800 hours in it they ask me "Oh, should I get it? Is it good?" I'm ashamed to say I always respond "Hell no it sucks" and yet I come back every week, I read the forums and post my opinion in the hopes that the game will be better. Ho hum.

Feel free to criticize what you will, I'm curious as to what everyone thinks of the new update, and as always, thanks for reading.

All stickers are supposed to have the same chance to spawn. We're investigating the possibility that this is not the case. There's going to be improvements made to Stickers being hard to keep track of.
As for balance, it's not a priority right now and the changes being made cover little by little, and respond to more planned changes along the way. We are in touch with the comp community, this isn't the final outcome of the meta or the final balance plans.
There's a lot of changes planned for 1.0 that address a lot of the current complaints of the game, and we will communicate them when we get to that stage. We're not hiding. Not everyone on the dev team is part of the design team and can communicate these changes, and not everyone on the dev team is equipped to respond to all the feedback we get. We're currently reading everything that's being posted, and processing it internally. We're also dealing with the post-patch bugs and the features that aren't working as intended.
New mechanics always start out a bit barebones, and I think, personally, that calling the game unpolished garbage is a rude and extreme thing to say. The feedback in this post is generally good, it's useful, so why make it unnecessarily toxic? It doesn't make us more receptive to the post, it doesn't make me want to reply to it. It just makes us depressed and weary. Please do keep in mind that we're people and we have to go through this multiple times a day.

Just please dont give up (never), love this game so far. Thanks for everything; the toxic people are less than half of the currently enjoyers of the game understanding the actual stage of it.

haha no worries, we're fulfilling all our plans for Temtem, whatever it costs
