Hi hi! I come with exciting news today, so let's get into it already:

The big Arbury patch passed certifications successfully! This means the likeliness of Arbury coming out in December is now 99%. The patch is fully translated and tested, but we've found some small stuff that we want to fix and/or improve on, so we want to have another internal patch before we hand it over to you. This is also why we can't give you a day yet, but we're aiming for next week, or the one after it if something were to go wrong. Stay tuned here, or on any of our socials, for the final announcement with the full date!

Follow the will-o'-the-wisps

This patch contains a new big feature that we want to make sure is working fine, and it takes a little extra time with certifications. To give you a sneak peek...

Could the word Kudos be any more evident? Kudos are Temtem's take on achievements and are paired with Steam Achievements & PS5 Trophies. There'll be different categories depending on the nature of the Kudo, and although the reward system hasn't been implemented yet, some Kudos will grant you rewards upon completion! 🏆 Don't worry if you complete them now, though, you'll get your reward later!

Also, as we mentioned on our Early Access release and on past island announcements, Temtem's price increases with big updates until it reaches its final price (that will be $44.99 USD): the Arbury update will increase Temtem's price to $41.99 USD/36,99€ and an equivalent amount in your local currency. This does not affect those of you who already have the game, but it's important if you don't own it yet.

We'll share more exciting Arbury news in the upcoming days, and, of course, look forward to the actual date announcement and the patch notes for the whole round-up on the update!

See you soon, happy taming 💚

Will kudos/achievements be retroactive?

some will, some won't! Most repeatable content (like catching a 5/5 fish or dojo rematches) are not retroactive, but anything locked beyond un-repeatable content (like the main story) will be (retroactive).
