[2020] World wont load

New to Reddit so forgive any errors but I'm having some problems that I'd appreciate some help with

So I got the switch version last week. Been playing for the better part of the weekend but i ran into a problem. I finished up my playing session and exited and saved. This morning I tried to load up my world again. It did the usual things, resetting game objects and then loading world data, taking about 15-20 seconds to finish that second one. Then it just stops. Screen is blank aside from the background and title, still animated as they typically are. If I press the A button the tips that show up during loading appear as usual. No matter how long I leave it it won't load. The weirdest part to me is that it only seems to be affecting my main world. I have a second world but it loads fine with no issue.

If anyone knows what the problem is and/or any potential fixes, that would be greatly appreciated
