Disclaimer: I havent played the first game, and given the sheer ammount of content there is, im a bit overwhelmed and might ask stupid questions. I'm a bit behind regarding this game because of the shd progression bug and because I mainly play solo, it was hard to find someone to find someone who hadn't played the mission.

So I hit WT5, did some stuff to get better gear and have gear score 499 now. As the tooltip prompted, I would like to start on my "build". I did some research and found this interesting LMG+demolitionst combo build which suits my playstyle quite well. As I understand, for the correct piece of gear of this guide to drop, there are following requirements:

-A high gearscore (500 or as close possible

-It has to be the right brand

-It needs to have the preffered talents (like hardhitting, and in a lot of gearpieces, combined with a second talent)

-It needs to have the correct attributes

As you can only calibrate one talent or attribute, you need a perfect run, with 1 wildcard/joker. For example, in this build you have fenris kneepads with armor attributes, and the talents hardhitting + Patience

I like having a long term project in mind, but I have no idea how I would begin this, it seems like a very low chance to get what I want/the build describes. So what is the best way to farm for possible good gear / gear im llooking for? Farm highlevel control points? replay missions, and what type of missions? bounties?

Just to illustrate, I had to do bank 10 times before I had my first K-component in the hardwire project, and it was kinda discouraging/frustrating to find barely any good loot., So if I do this without getting soome intel first, I fear I might be busy for months without any real progress

thanks for any help

And yes I know there isn’t a ton of diversity at the moment but maybe having this section could help create more diversity
Historically we put builds and similar types of gameplay guides within the Community Content sub forum.
