Hey Everyone,

Some news to share; I'll be stepping off The Division team to jump onto other projects at Ubisoft.

I've been on The Division since first joining Ubisoft in 2018 and it's been amazing to be a part of the journey of this franchise since then.

Rest assured that you're being left in good hands moving forward with the rest and best of The Division's Community Team, as well as one of your new Community Managers, UbiJurassic. I wish you all the best and hope to see you again in other parts of the Ubisoft sphere or in-game!

I'll be hosting one last community stream at 3:00 PM EDT today (Thursday, January 14) - so if you've got a minute stop by and say hello!

Hard to Earn directive doesn't allow for armor kits to be picked up?

What have been the different sources of the armor kits you're unable to pick up and are they still dropping when you reach full Spec Ammo bar charge?

Hey EglinAfarce, the OP is running into this issue on Xbox - are you having the same issue on a different platform or Xbox as well?

Yes, I checked and double checked. I have no symbols of directives at all, but they're active. I left the group where I was, load screen and back to a safe house near the mission I was in. My own session, my own settings. Everything without directives anywhere. This started to happen quite often after tu12. I'll make sure to save a video when this happens, as it's been very common to happen lately.

I believe I've seen instances of this in the past before... Do you happen to notice it only occurring with specific difficulties, activities, or party sizes? If you are able to get a video together, please tag me as well. :)

Also, could I get your Xbox gamertag as well for posterity?

As a general rule, the only way to gain Overcharge is through weapon and gear talents that specifically mention that they grant overcharge.

Though if you're wanting to use a 6-Skill Tier build and lean away from Technician, I strongly recommend sing the Capacitor to get the most out of its Weapon Damage per/ Utility Core talent.

Hey Da-TraumaLLama, would you be able to provide a video showing the Rigger backpack misbehaving like this along with the overall build you're using? The more info we have on why it might not be working properly, the better.

Just to circle back on this, we should see a correction to the Superior (Purple) quality named items after the December 15 maintenance. Please let me know if this continues happening after the servers come back up tomorrow!

  • Fixed an issue where players incorrectly received a Global Event Star when leveling up.
  • Fixed an issue where deconstructing pieces of the Rigger Gear Set did not yield materials.

Hey AKAMA, I saw a post earlier showing this happening in The Summit... but the backdrop here doesn't look like that.

Do you recall where/what activity you got that purple named drop and what difficulty you were playing on?

Just happened again - like the case before, it was also a reward for completing an summit challenge - in this case an Ascent challenge (Guardian Award).

It was Challenge Reward 7 (1 x targeted loot), Empress was the targeted loot again, and Kit Fox gloves were the item this time around.
