Some thoughts.

TLDR; Please don't turn the Dark Zone into another Gank Zone 2.0. Don't make the Dark Zone the only viable option to acquire the best loot and gear in the game.

So in the early days of The Division 1 you where pretty much forced to enter into the dark zone for a chance to retrieve the best gear and loot and we all know how that went. High lever players that had been able to play 24/7 and retrieve the best loot in the game, where ganking new and inexperienced agents over and over. If The Division 2 is going to make the same mistake we will have the same issue with players leaving like we had in first game.

Nobody want this.

As an agent that prefers to play solo it's pretty damn frustrating to be ganked over and over. Not only will this potentially halt you progress and ability to acquire new and important loot to finish your build, but it will also potentially lower your player-base in the long run. In The Division 1 - with the right build - I could easily defeat three and sometimes four rouge agents, but in The Division 2 this i pretty much impossible with the new armor and heal system. During the both the- private and the open beta i've been ganked over and over by four and three man groups.

The TTK is currently so low that during the beta I often had no chance to react or run away. Sure we don't have endgame gear in the Dark Zone yet, but if the current TTK is indicative of what's to come i don't really think it matters to much.

I've read on Reddit that the game will try to "matchmake" you with the same amount of agens you enter the dark zone with, so if you enter as a solo agent you will only encounter other solo agent etc. but this seems to not be working. Maybe the feature it disabled during the beta phase, we don't know.

I know that this is only a beta and in the full game we will have access to three dark zones, end game gear and more optimized builds, but i'm begging you please don't forget about the solo agents of The Division. Don't make the same mistakes as you did in the early days of The Division 1 and make the Dark Zone the only viable option to acquire the best loot and gear in the game.

Just saying.
