Although you have a good internet connection it does sound like your network may not be configured for the game and so as a result you are experiencing this issue.

Would it therefore be possible to try these connectivity troubleshooting steps? I would particularly advise to try the port forwarding steps but the other steps may also help us rule out other potential causes
