Look I am a die hard so I will be back but already have most of my group given up and moved on. Here are the things I hear and see the most for myself and others.

1) Gotta fix whatever algorithm it is that spawns enemies. The reason that you see people on here complaining about it being too hard, and too easy at the same time is that both are true. I can go to a Control point and have a reasonable amount of enemies there. Clear it and then head to the next one only to see three robots, two large machine gunners, and two guys throwing fire grenades. It has gotten to the point where when I am in the open world doing activities I hit those times where I just know I am going down. There has to be a way to make this challenging without being so frustratingly hard. The DZ in D1 was just right there, so not sure what is taking you so long to figure this out. This should be PRIORITY 1. People are quitting out of frustration because of this.

2) The gear system is a total mess right now. I am one of those who is taking his time going through this and honestly there is ZERO motivation to spend time in the open world in between tiers and farm. I am WT3 and still getting WAY WAY WAY too much purple gear. its ten to one. That has been the case in the whole game. Now I know this gear is temporary but you are taking away the fun of trying different gear combos out. You need to GREATLY increase the yellow gear that drops especially on control points and killing bosses.

3) The gear system is a mess chapter 2. The gear system now makes absolutely no sense. I get a purple 334 holster that has way more damage and health than a 362 piece. Seriously it needs some major work. also I cant tell what advantage I get from using a two piece or three piece set, vs a single piece of higher score. The armor and health numbers don't seem to account for that in any sense so honestly I am just groping in the dark for whatever pieces to use and at this point i just equip whatever gives me the most armor and heath. I end up with 6 different pieces of gear, so what is the point of sets?

4) I don't mind the guys that throw the flame bombs but the damage there is WAY WAY WAY too long. If you get flamed, especially in a deep firefight you might as well give up because you will sit there and burn for 20 seconds, cant shoot, and just watch your heath drop like a rock. This is the only thing that is seriously OP, along with the enemies that can deflect all damage. Those two need to be fixed.

5) fix the enemy algorithm chapter 2. I get to the end of a Stronghold just fine. IN the last section I spend literally 20 minutes in that one section and it seems like there are an endless stream of guys. I finally go down. Spawn back, and I can finish the same thing in 5 minutes this time. Same strategy, same weapons, same level. One mission (protect the antennas) I get cornered by the big machine gunner and go down. Respawn and this time there are THREE big gunners. Go down. Respawn and this time there are no big gunners. Mission finished. Seriously that is why this game is easy, hard, and impossible all at once.

Short list in my opinion.

I really enjoyed your post from my PoV as a mod. Explaining why the game can feel easy and hard at the same time really put things into perspective for me, as someone who sees copious amounts of both types of feedback on here.

Thanks Im4Givn!
