Hello everyone! It’s been an amazing two years on For Honor, but I’m switching brands within Ubisoft on 10/4. Since I know it’s fun to speculate, let me just state that this isn’t related to a dev team resources concern. I work down in the States, not in Montreal. 😊

The For Honor community team will still be in the capable hands of Brian, Josh, Callum, and now Lawrence as well (who’s still being onboarded). This is a supremely talented and driven bunch of people who have already spearheaded a ton of work on the brand.

This community is awesome, and I don’t say that lightly. You’re a kinder bunch than you give yourselves credit for, and I feel pretty lucky that I got to be a CM with you guys.

There’s so many people who I’ve enjoyed talking to and working with over the last couple of years – both on the team and in the community. I considered thanking a list of people but that would be an insanely long list if I wanted to give credit to everyone who deserves ...

Hello all! If you are encountering the black screen on launch issue, we are still in need of more information. Please feel free to reach out to me (UbiInsulin) via chat or PM for information-gathering purposes. To be clear, I'm not qualified to provide tech support, I am just assisting the production team in getting some more data points. :)

This morning, the account that owns the For Honor Trials & Dojo server was compromised. We are working closely with Discord staff and the account owner to resolve the issue and restore the account. In the meantime, please exercise caution and do not click on any suspect links from server owners or other mods/admins.

We'll update the community as the situation progresses.

UPDATE: Thanks to Discord, we have both the Dojo server and the r/CompetitiveForHonor servers back in the hands of the FH community. We're now working to restore things to normal.

Please continue being hyper-cautious with Discord, even with friends!

PC players experiencing start-up issues: we believe this may be related to out-of-date graphics card drivers in most cases. Please update your drivers and attempt to start the game again.

Use this thread to let us know if a graphics driver update does not resolve the issue for you so we can determine whether this does provide a fix.

Anything happening on our social accounts is very much a team effort (me, Josh, and Brian from the Warrior's Den and more people besides), but we all try to have fun with it. This one was actually Brian!

That's one of the issues covered, yes! Also PlayStation Store (purchasing doesn't grant the Kyoshin) + Xbox (in-game store has incorrect redirect).

Hey all, we're aware of the reported purchase/ownership issues with Kyoshin and investigating. We'll update you as soon as we know more.

NEW HERO – KYOSHIN

The Kyoshin are legendary Samurai who have a deep connection to the spiritual realms. Their special training led them to master the art of fighting with a concealed blade, the Shikomizue. While they flow through battle wielding their sword and scabbard, they use heavenly powers to gain the upper hand against the enemy. Their special Kaze Stance can block incoming attacks and allow them to retaliate quickly.
