I finally burned out on Div2 last week, but still had an itch for looting. I went back to playing Diablo 3. That game has it so right for loot drop progression.
Why can't Div2 make their loot drops like Diablo, with a tier system like GRW? Why do we stop at 5 tiers when GRW had 50?
The power chase/difficulty progression would be much more rewarding. Why not do something like paragon points while you're at it? Let us incrementally power up individual pieces of gear, or base powers/abilities on our character?
How is a 5+ year old game stay so popular, fun and engaging, Massive, Ubi, take a look at Diablo 3 and help make Div2 something that has that kind of staying power.
Also give us survival again too.

Can you elaborate a little bit more on the specific traits of the gear system you're referring to? (There's a lot going on with Legendary/Set items, Ancient quality, Enchanting, Sockets, etc.)

Wow.. well my reply would be that 500 gear isn't dropping where it is guaranteed to drop and it is rarely dropping in challenging missions even. Maybe 1 in 30 drops have been 500 for me, in challenging and maybe 1/10 off of bosses, in challenging.
500 GS Gear isn't guaranteed to drop in challenging missions. The recent update was for Heroic difficulty content bosses guarantee 500 GS drops once you are also at 500 GS. If this function is not working properly, please let me know.
