You would think that in one of these patches they would address a very simple tiny thing called "Lighting". You know, it's one of the top two factors in gameplay. Even when you slide the brightness to 20 at night there are still places that are pitch black. They fixed it in DIV. 1 because I can remember how bad it was in there at the start. Why in G-D's name would Massive make the same damn mistake here in DIV.2? Kinda makes me rethink DIV.2 and go back to DIV.1 until they can address the damn lighting issue in this game.

Semantics of who-said-what first and how many people is a handful aside, there should be brightness/visual settings from your display that can be altered when playing the game to compensate in some darker sections of gameplay. While I don't know of any plans to touch the game's lighting system, I can certainly take your feedback into account!

There is definitely something going on , whether its in the game engine or how my drivers (Nvidia) are handling it etc, but all I know is at the beginning I had no issues, they after a few patches night game play either indoors or outdoors was basically completely pitch black. I noticed it and then after that same patch saw complaints about the lighting that never existed before on the forums so that seems a bit coincidental. I did try to mess with some lighting settings in game but ultimately gave up and just have been dealing with it since.
Thank you for the additional detail! I've been noting a lot of the different info reported in this thread.
