I only tried the little shield, as someone called it the "Captain America" shield, and it got destroyed so quickly multiple time, that I scrapped that idea. Didn't think it was a viable choice. The respawn time wasn't an issue for me, as it was very weak, and essentially useless.

The Shield ability seems a little too good compared to all the other abilities (excluding the healing ones because one of those seems to be needed by default). Part of the problem seems that it has no cool down (unless it gets busted) compared to the hefty cool down most of the other abilities have.
