- Characters : they were far more charismatic and more immersed in the story (Joe Ferro, Paul Rhodes, Charles Bliss)
- The story : excellent one, I got hooked to it's development all along the campaign
- Gear Sets : they were far polished, especially after the addition of the Classified Gear
- Builds : they were extremely satisfying and easier to achieve
- Talent trees : ah damn it, incomparable with the crappy specializations we got today
- Skills : where is my sticky bomb, my smart cover or my signature skill ?
- Grenades : I liked how I could switch between grenades, without having them looked behind a spec (where is the EMP grenade btw?)
- Consumable : Like grenades, I liked using depending on the situation, now, we are giving water to NPCs for a meh buff instead of boosting our damage against elites with it
- The snow : Yep, I miss the snow

ps : I'm not going to talk about Underground, Survival or Incursions, cause I hope they are coming in a future content update (maybe in another form)

EDIT : damn it, I forgot Rick Valassi :/

I appreciate the feedback here, everyone. It's interesting to see what people thought of the various strengths of The Division compared to The Division 2. At least with story, I will say I personally quite enjoy the little vignettes and anecdotes we wind around the city the most. For me, The Division has always been more about the event and aftermath on the population rather than my character.

What do you feel the characters and story from The Division had that The Division 2 is lacking? Charisma and immersion, perhaps, but those are more means rather than ends. What is The Division 2 missing, to you?
