One function of Debug Mode on NVIDIA drivers is that once enabled it will set the video card clocks back to default for GPU and GPU RAM.

So many graphics card vendors sell pre-clocked GPUs that cause issues later on with newer drivers and more demanding engines.

So, I'm suggesting that anyone with crashing issues on an NVIDIA GPU should try Debug Mode to see if their card is clocked too high.

You can enable Debug Mode by opening NVIDIA Control Panel and ticking the option in the Help drop-down menu.

The setting does not persist after reboot but will help you decide whether you need to lower your GPU clocks with Afterburner or perhaps your system needs better cooling?

You could simply toggle it on before a gaming session to set your GPU back to safe default clocks if it helps.
