Having to wait a week to get the exclusive raid loot is a mistake for this game.
I get where the idea is coming from and it makes sense in big and slow mmorpgs, where you have several other options to make progress, but a fast-paced loot-shooter lives from the progression of the loot. A decent and average team should be able to clear the raid in one and a half hour or less, the efficient ones already did it under under half an hour. So we are not talking about something big either, compared to raids in mmorpgs. The loot being exclusive to raid is already a hindrance, so why restricting it to one drop per week too? I am sure as hell that farming groups will emerge, but that is actually a good thing and timely appropriate for the average, especially when more raids will get introduced later on.
It just really sucks to have to wait for one week to have the possibility of getting progress again. Thats what i do currently, playing your game for the raid, because my main character is on the edge of finding no upgrades anymore, i have a twink on the specific level of 19 to farm the best mods in the game, i have all the collectibles, i have everything unlocked, i have around 87% of the commendations completed and the mods are finished in 60 days at the latest. Dont have much to do besides raiding and i can only want to play it so much, without an actual incentive besides memorising the patterns.
The exclusive loot is also too much to not have it properly farmable. Three whole sets, which apparently either drop as a piece or as blueprint, or maybe both in a whole eventually, damn components to craft the pieces and an exotic weapon. I have to assume, there are at least 20 pieces of loot to get specificly in the raid, which also have quite the low dropchance, especialy because the bosses have apparently the chance to only drop one of those pieces. Not to mention the alleged 1% droprate on bosses for the exotic weapon. This is a nightmare to farm when one run per week the limit is.
