The Ruthless:Convert recipe says: "Converts the visuals of Merciless to those of Ruthless." It does does not say it will REASSIGN VALUES. Why does it reroll ally values on my Merciless? I had a PERFECT full God rolled Merciless, now it seems all those stats had been rolled away. wonder if this is intended or a bug. Can it be reverted ??
Regrettably, the behaviour you have experienced is as intended. Our article regarding reconfiguring exotics states:
The ability to reconfigure an exotic will do 2 things:It can be risky to reconfigure an already powerful Exotic, as each individual attribute bar and the overall power of the item will be re-rolled. As your Merciless was already god-rolled, this outcome is one of several that could have occurred, and is intended behaviour.
1. The Exotic selected will be brought up to the level of your crafting bench, up to level 40.
2. The attributes of the Exotic you reconfigure, will get new stat values assigned which are appropriate for the Exotic’s level. The overall new power of a reconfigured Exotic will be at a guaranteed minimum and can go all the way up to a god-rolled item.
