Hi everyone. I'm returning to the game after a few month's time and I've encountered a bug/issue that's practically system-breaking, let alone game-breaking.
For whatever reason, I cannot get my map to open. Resetting things to default, rebinding the key in different ways - nothing. Google searches are frustratingly bare, and even the sub itself doesn't seem to have a single topic on the issue.
However, the problem gets much worse. If I spam click the map button (pardon me, it's a bad habit) not only goes the entire game lag out for a moment but my computer as a whole as well. Repeatedly trying to open the map, then inputting any other action such as walking, opening other menus, etc. forces the client to play out every single action on a delay. I can't alt-tab, alt-F4, ctrl-alt-del, anything until it's over. It's almost like the game knows there's supposed to be something happening then freaks out afterwards.
Any advice? Let me know what kind of info I can provide.
