Hi all i'm not sure if you are able to help but it was suggested to me that i reach out to you. I've been playing Hardcore mode quite a bit lately and really enjoying the challenge. I've killed many hardcore characters and have subsequently learnt from each death and applied these learning with every new character.
Last night in my most recent encounter whilst nearing World tier 4, I engaged with an NPC and my screen froze with the constant recurring sound of gunfire in the background. I waited a little while and it did not want to correct itself. It appears my internet connection dropped out for a few minutes which it seems to do every now and then.
This is not the first time that this occurred as previously a couple of weeks back same thing occurred when i was in the middle of the street but fortunately i was not engaged with any NPC. Thankfully when i was able to log back in a few minutes later it appeared that my character resumed from the nearest safehouse (crisis averted).
Last night though it occured in the middle of a firefight. I had to quit the game and restart it because of the freezing issue as it would not correct itself. When i successfully logged back in, Ii was greeted with the death screen which absolutely sucks as this was something beyond my control.
Not sure if there is any way in which this can be verified via your logs etc and whether it can be rolled back to an earlier time? It has really put a damper on things considering the time invested in building up a character only to be robbed because of a connection issue. I would of thought there would have been some sort a failsafe protection mechanism to allow for these sort of instances? Not sure if you can help but hey im asking?
