I'll just get right into the point.

I don't show up at my job and say, "Hey job, screw you and my ability to buy food and stuffs" and neither do the employees at Massive, nor do any of you (those of you that work). So, that should clear that up for anyone who works, has responsibilities, and isn't a ten year old.

The game isn't dead. I have to wait maybe 30 seconds for a conflict match, see people most of the time in the DZ, I queue almost instantly for bounties, and usually get one or two stragglers who pop in for missions/clears. I don't see as many people in the safe houses as I once did, but that's to be expected. A gaming population slowly declines after it's release until it reaches a stable and predictable population. That's just common sense. This whole "this game is DEAD!!!" "This game is dying" "ABC and XYZ will kill this game!" has all been said before about every modern game and to the point of ad nauseum. No matter how bad you want it to be true, no matter how bad you want people to hate TD2 as much as you, no matter how much you think you're sticking to "the man" by making an @ss out of yourself on the forum...I have news for you....it isn't, we won't, you're not.

This generation of gamers is the most obnoxious, entitled, spoiled, and delusional group of gamers I've seen in my 20+ years of gaming. Your arguments have no substance, your points are refutable (and easily so btw), and the amount of drama and angst just screams that you are looking for attention and nothing more. You are not trying to make a significant and impactful change to a game you enjoy. You would be providing data and posting in feedback if that was the case. You are not trying to teach Massive and their "greedy devs" a lesson through some sort of veiled activism. If you were trying to take a consumerist stance or stand up for some activist agenda you wouldn't be armchairing your way through it with some freggin video game. Do you donate your time to a consumer rights group or soup kitchen? No. Then stop trying to look like you're doing it on a video game forum of all places.

In the end, The Division 2 is a great game with a healthy playerbase, and it will stay that way for a relatively long time. No matter how bad you want it to not be so, it will be. So, you can either start making rational and intelligible arguments and give specific and logical feedback, or, you be can lost in the anals of time like all the other fly-by-night gamers who would've left this game and forum regardless. You are forgettable.

Why post this? Just to say this: Developers do not take today's gamers or their feedback seriously because they do not deserve to be taken seriously. They care as much about your posts as they care about my mini-rant. This generation can go ahead and ruin all kinds of things eg politics, the internet, the economy, morals and ideals, BUT...keep your idiotic hands off my video games. A bunch a hedons you are.
