Agents,

I have some personal news to share with you all today. This will be my final week at Ubisoft as I will be moving on to a new adventure elsewhere.

The Divisions community will always mean a lot to me, having spent the last 4 years of my professional life working with The Division and The Division 2 in community roles. The creativity and passion of this community is something which is truly remarkable, and it has been an absolute pleasure interacting with you both online and in person over the course of these past years.

A new Community Developer will be joining the team at Massive in the future, and until then you are in the good hands of the rest of The Divisions community team.

Thank you for all the great memories!

Best,

Johan Lindholm
Community Developer

Agents,

We are happy to confirm that the crashes affecting PC players since yesterday afternoon CET are now fixed.

The ongoing Golden Bullet Global Event will be extended by one week on all platforms.

We appreciate the patience and understanding shown over the past day.

Hey Johan,

Any update? I know ita frustrating that you have to constantly update here but consider it a good sign that even after you guys being unable to fix this crashing thing for good, we still want to play the game.

We are currently looking at a range of potential causes for this behaviour to find the core issue.

Crashes can be tricky to nail down sometimes, but rest assured that we are working tirelessly to get the game on PC back to normal again.

I will suggest that we extend the GE to the team.

Hey, an update! Wasn't very hard, was it? Communication is key in service issues, even if that communication is "still working on it"

We got on it as soon as we got in to work this morning as we are located in Sweden and are working non-stop to find a solution.

I appreciate the frustration of not having any concrete updates over the night, but even developers need sleep!

We're currently investigating what the underlying cause of this is and working to identify the best way to more forward this morning.

I will update you in this thread once I have more information to share.

Just jumping in to say that we have no current plans to increase the level cap in the upcoming content.

More information on what lies ahead will be coming soon.

We see the ongoing conversation in our community and we understand that you are eager for news of what lies ahead for The Division 2.

Today, we are thrilled to confirm that there will be additional content for The Division 2 released later this year! It is your continuous passion and support which enables us to continue to build upon The Division 2 experience, and we cannot thank you enough for that.

Some of you had noticed that Title Update 12 was originally meant to be the last major Title Update for The Division 2, but thanks to your continued support, we are now in the early stages of development for fresh content to release later in 2021.

While it is still too early to go into more details today, you won’t have to wait too long, as we will share more as soon as we can.

In the meantime, we again want to send a heartfelt thank you for your continued support throughout the Division 2 post-launch period. We cannot stress enough ho...

Reproduction rate: 100%

System Specs: PS5

What the hell happened to the PS5 version? So many effects stripped and the resolution is not even native 4K. This version is graphically bugged.

This is fixed internally and will be fixed in a minor Title Update early March.

We are investigating it but it has been proven hard to reproduce. If you have a video of this occurring, starting from floor 99 that would be of great help.

Eh, Okay then but I was expecting some more info

I just wanted to break the silence on our end, I know it's not the answers you are looking for but I prefer this over not saying anything.

As for optimisation cost reduction, I wonder whether they will have really listened to feedback this time around. How long will it have taken them to unplug their ears after the PTS? How far will they go? 10%, 50%, in between, significant reduction or only marginal? Bets are open...

75% reduction

Agents,

Our current focus lies in the imminent release of Title Update 12.1 on February 2nd which brings our latest Apparel Event Resident Evil to the game, the next gen console improvements bringing 4K 60 FPS to Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, as well as a reduction to the Optimization Station cost based on community feedback.

We know that many of you have questions what lies beyond Title Update 12.1 and we hear you and understand that you are hungry for news. While we have no concrete news to share today, as soon as we do we will let you all know.

Stay tuned to our official channels for any future news.

It seems that this is just dragging the time, due to the lack of any content... I hate to admit it but the game is buried alive at this point...

Focus on this testing phase is focused on PvE/PvP balancing of new and existing gear.

Not as glamorous as new features, but important nonetheless!
