[2022] Viewpoint Museum - Micro - NPC stuck behind elevators that won't die

I've been trying for days to finish the Viewpoint Museum "Micro" bounty mission but everytime I get to the hall where the helicopter is hanging from the ceiling there's one last NPC that's stuck behind the elevators. I see the yellow exclamation point so I know it's there but not even the chem launcher is working. I look at the elevators holding the C.L., the circle turns red, I launch the Firestarter ammo, set it on fire, see a steady stream of 200k damage values but it never dies. Rinse and repeat for 20+ minutes - it still won't die. There's less than 24 hours left to complete the bounty. Anyone have any words of wisdom? The thought of not being able to complete this bounty because of something that's not my fault is very frustrating to me, especially since I've purchased the season pass (and every one before this) and spent a LOT of money on this game since I purchased it originally. Thanks for any guidance you may have.
