There's no way of reproducing it, since this happens extremely random. Sometimes I can game for one hour without a single massive framerate drop, sometimes it happens every 3-4 minutes.

It started some 10-12 days ago and it keeps on going.

I went to nvidia's driver page and downloaded the HotFix driver but it seems is not only the driver at fault.

It just happens that at any random time, the game will go to 1-5 fps for 5 to 10 seconds, then come back to normal. During this time, the GPU is at 100% constantly.
