ESL here so this maybe a bit confusing for some.

I don’t understand where is this game going or what is trying to achieve. Release of Dark hours last week really got me confused.
The last problem of the raid was its difficulty. I thought, I am going to see some great class/agro mechanics and saw non of that, its all dps builds. So basic you just forced whole population of the game to do one build …...... dps build. As long you have 8 players with 3-4 million dps and some sort coordination this will be done fine. So why do we have all these skills ? Why do we have specialization weapons ?
I watched Marco/Nick team from the beginning of the raid , I do not recall one person using specialized weapons......what are they there for? why exotics already do more dmg. ?

At this moment I have bad feeling that Devs don’t know where they want to take this game. You had good opportunity to take 'core' of TD1 and take it farther. It was good design, we had 3 major attributes that would scale so we all knew what we where investing in. We had holy trinity , it was well balanced (Pve at least) and gave us huge build diversity. All skills where being used. All builds where fun to play and where useful.
I understand that you wanted to do something else but are you guys clear where are you heading with this ? Because right now this game is a cluster ****.

Like I said before, raid reduced our build diversity to 1 dps class. You had a chance to make specialization in to classes. Lets say Sharpshooter would be dps, Demolitionist support, Survivalist medic and one more specialization could have been tank. You didn’t do it , again you limited our build diversity.
We have skills that are compliantly useless and weak …... guess what, no build diversity. 99% of the time 2 skills where being used in the raid, healing and reviver …....2 skills.

Now Gear Mods, complete 'hair splinting' for no reason , there are so many mods who the **** can even find themselves in all these different specifications? , guess what everyone is using blue +6% dmg mods.
Weapon and gear talents are boring , there are very few interesting synergies, and for some unknown reason you have limited weapon talents to their slots ? Why ? So we hair splinting on the gear mods trying to create fake diversity but you limit talents exchange on weapons ? I don’t understand. Its like 2 steps forward and 2 steps back.

The Ai at the release was so good, it was hard you had to think what to do and how and ….. it got nerfed. You should have left the Ai and work on builds and skill damage scaling, with time people would have adjusted to more tactical play and not face tanking like in TD1.
There are still so many bugs and glitches. Texture not loading, falling through the world, being stuck on objects and yet you push with more content. We want quality not quantity. We want to play something that makes sense.
You all worked hard on TD1 for many years and its seems like you had learned nothing . That is very sad and disappointing. This raid release proves, at least to me, that this is run and gun game.

Where are we heading? Why are you dumping content on us when so many core things are not right ?
Something to think about.

As for the post overall though, thank you very much for the robust feedback and your take on the state of the game right now. If I may, there is one phrase you used that I would really appreciate if you could explain more of what you meant.

What do you mean by 'fake diversity' here? How has this impacted your build or gameplay practices?
