So its no surprise End Game grind is basically none existent at this point and here are a few reason why in comparison to TD1 and TD2

TD1:
Legendary Mission (Tied to Exotic weapons/gear drops)
Incursions Mission (tied to Gearsets)
Populated DZ (Again Tied to specific activities and gear)
Mass selection of Gearsets
Mass Selection of Exotic Weapons/Armour

TD2
No Legendary Missions
No Incursion Missions
Somewhat dwindling DZ Population thanks to an overally saturated DZ zone (3 to be specific)
Small Exotic weapon pool (7 in total or 8 now if you include the AR from Raid)
No Exotic Armour
Poor Raid implementation and gear locked behind it

Just a small comparison as to why TD1 End Game grind is so much better than TD2.

Firstly lets talk about Legendary Missions and there exotic gear/weapons tied to it. THIS needs to be brought back ASAP if you want people to engage in your game for longer periods. It would be nice to see Legendary Missions for the players who atm have no chance of doing the Raid on console or PC because of whatever reasons, at least this will give them something to do.

Secondly, DZ population....... personally I think DZ needs to brought back to the TD1 days. yes I said it, I'm no PvP player but when I got bored of TD1 PvE, PvP was a way to undo that boredom and personally in TD2 there is virtually no reason for me to play/enjoy TD2 PvP when its just a mess with everyone running DPS builds......

Thirdly, Exotic Gear pool........ oh god where to begin with this one. I was honestly surprised to see only 7 or 8 Exotics to make it into the Full Release of TD2 after TD1 experience. like seriously, if your goal was for people to farm Gearsets instead then shame on you Massive.

Fourthly, Raid....... lets just say you single handedly killed a good portion of your players fast on an already underperforming title in sales figure for TD2....... not only in your 'special livestream' did your Raid Design lead slip up and say 'they tested out the random experience in a Raid encounter and it was not pleasant, you knew that this was tested and simply chose to let players find out a day before there was going to be no MM, I mean what great communication that is to your players......

You also made the huge mistake of locking Gearsets and AR Exotics behind the Raid, I mean if the backlash from Destiny 1 Raid having no MM was not an insight or the fact that only 16% of players completed the Destiny 2 Levi Raid (prior to Last Wish being released) you honestly expected players to just sit back and wait 1+ month for content they may never play....... seriously shame on you massive. this was suppose to help the end game grind but if anything made at least 50% just go '**** it, what a waste of time'

Please Bring back Legendary Missions ASAP along with Exotic Gear/Weapons tied to those missions to at least stem this boredom of a game.

Small hint, If players only play your game for the weekly and daily rewards then your game is flawed....... Destiny 2 had the exact same issue, no end game what so ever to the point where once you go close to max light your basically just logging in for Weekly Engrams just to boost your level by god was that boring as ****, just playing a game for weekly loot is not a game, and thats the experience many are having right now no gear sets worth grinding for, no proper build diversity (could be stemmed by exotic armour)

So there's very clearly a lot of feedback to take in here and while I will be sure to make a note of all of it, there is one topic in particular I'd like to drill down on since it was a contentious topic leading up to The Division 2: Exotics.

One thing that was mentioned a lot was that exotics felt like simply best-in-category decisions, and quickly became obsolete from other exotics. So I guess my question is ultimately what do you look for in an exotic, and how do you expect it to fit into your build?
