Massive (To whom it May Concern),

Per Message during gameplay (Left hand corner of the screen) that appears often...

I know, based upon playing with agents (friends) that average of 700-1GB downloads speed, that this is not on our end.

When this appears, especially during Countdown; you can almost expect 99% of the time that most, if not half, will get disconnected at the last encounter.

Is this a server overloaded (Network can't handle the volume)?

Hey there @linc-harris6670, I am sorry to see that you are running into connection issues during regular gameplay.

First, please be aware that your connection speed does not have anything to do with your connection stability.

That being said, we do have a troubleshooting guide available to try and establish a more stable connection with our game services. Please run through the steps here, and have any friends you play with who have similar connection issues run through the steps as well! I will include the guides for each platform, just in case you have friends that play on other platforms.


Once you have finished this troubleshooting, if you still frequently run into connection stability issues you should reach out to your Internet Service Provider to explain the problem to them and ask if there is anything they can resolve on their end to provide you with a more stable connection to our services.

You may also reach out to us in a one-on-one support ticket so that we can collect some information from you and get that escalated to our server and development teams!

Our team would like to collect a bit of specific information on how your connection is being routed, since you report connecting to the wrong data center. If you are willing to provide that information please open a one-on-one support ticket and provide the following:

  1. A screenshot of your port forwarding settings, instructions are available in my previous post in this thread.
  2. A copy of a trace route test, the command you run in the prompt should be: tracert ubisoft.com
  3. The name of your ISP.


Once we have these things, we can review if there are any issues that are forcing your game to connect to the wrong data centers.
