[2023] Player statistics not showing in Ubisoft Connect for Steam copy of the game

There's a few differences between the Steam copy and Ubisoft Connect copy that I don't believe is an issue for any other game.
Player statistics aren't showing on the launch screen for the Steam copy, as you can see in the image below, Statistics and Game news are both missing for the Steam copy.
