[2019] Gear Score Drops have not changed since last update?

From what i understood after this last patch people with Gear Score 500
would only see gear pices or weapons with gear score 500 drop from enemies or missions?

I am Gearscore 500
Purple and geare and weapons with score
487
489
490
493
495
496
497
499

Still drops for me on floor from killing enemies or on missions on Challenge and Heroic
nothing has changed with loot drop after last patch from what i can see?

The 500 GS gear should be dropping from caches and bosses on Heroic difficulty mission bosses, as well as other activities at the Heroic level. Here is the direct quote from the patch notes.

"Heroic difficulty Mission bosses, Stronghold bosses, Bounty bosses and Heroic Control Points reward containers will guarantee Gear Score 500 when the player has reached 500 Gear Score."
If you are noticing these drops not appearing in these situations, please feel free to share the specifics of the situation (mission/boss/area/etc.) so I can make a note of it.
