First and foremost I want to start out by saying that the Division franchise is one of my favorite series. I love the Division 1 and sunk many hours into it. Even with all the bugs, balance changes and issues, I stuck through with Division 1. Flash forward to today and I can say that overall, the Division 2 is an EVEN BETTER game. It improves greatly on the foundation of the Division one by a lot. There's much more to do in Division 2 and overall the game feels good. With that said I think while the Division 2 has made many steps in the right direction, it has taken many steps in the wrong direction. I would like to list things that severely need to be fixed.
Normalization: Lets face it, the normalization in this game sucks. I completely understand the developers want to make so anyone can go into conflict or the DZ and have a fighting chance, but normalization ruins the overall player experience. But let me explain. See in a game like Destiny, normalization works because the weapon system is much more basic in scale. Therefore its easier to normalize Destiny. In a game like the Division 2 weapons have so many variables and perks etc. that it is almost impossible to properly normalize everything and still have a balanced system. There's nothing worse than having an Assault Rifle doing 22k damage and having it reduced to 9k damage in normalization. Lol Wow really? Division 1 had the same problem. You'd make a build, and half your perks wouldn't work because normalization would knock your stats down. I mean it's really annoying guys. No one wants there hard work swept away because of a system in place. A better idea would be to let people in WT5 keep there highest values (22k AR damage for example) but buff lower damage players to the next highest damage number. For example if someone is doing 13k base damage WITH ar in WT5 then buff them to like 16 or 17k AR base damage. But dont knock peoples stats down.
Gear Set: All gear sets are weak and underpowered. I understand you don't want overpowered gear sets like Nomad and Pred Mark, but at leat buff the gear sets more because they are still weak.
Matchmaking: Raids need matchmaking. People stand around and matchmake with randoms anyway so you might as well implement matchmaking. what's the difference from that and LFG?
The Raid: Make body damage more viable for console. PC players spec into Headshot damage. Console players spec more into raw damage and crit damage etc. I don't want the raid nerfed but I do want Console players to have a fair advantage.
