When i play anything else its fine but for some reason I load up countdown , gets to 9% then disconnects? not sure if i have done something which has caused this.

Can you grab a screenshot of the disconnect message for me? Depending on whether it's a full error message or just a simple notification our troubleshooting strategy might differ a bit.
Also, have you tried connecting for Countdown at various different times during the day? Have you had any better luck with loading in on at certain times? Have you been able to successfully load in at all?
Finally, for any sort of connection errors, I always recommend following our connectivity troubleshooting guide. Even if you are having no issues in regular game content, some of the multiplayer-focused content is a bit more sensitive to unstable connections which this guide will help to resolve.
