[2022] update 1.39 demoted my proficiency rank

the update yesterday changed my proficiency rank from 3 down to 2 on some of my gear.

i had a few items up to 3 but obviously i did not have the ability to save it due to the way dv2 runs things.

i used a great amount of resources to get those items up to 3.

can i get some help with this?

Due to a mistake in the amount of Proficiency points gained from kill XP, we have recalculated every player's progress to align.
