I watched yesterdays SOTG. The dev talked about the improvements to the firefly skill. I'm using an explosive build, but I'll get back to that.
On my skill build, I have a total of 8 targets. You launch the firefly. Any enemy you high light ends up with a white target on them, to in my case a total of 8. You launch it and then it does it's thing. The one that seems to make the most sense in the explosive build is the Burster, but let me talk to you about the Blinder.
When the enemy is blinded, they do not move much. They do not shoot. They do not avoid aoe.
On a 10s CD, you can lock the NPCs down so none of your team mates are being shot at. They are stationary targets. Since they aren't running away from AOE, every seeker hits it's target.
The Burster is a bit iffy. It works really well and does synergies with an explosive build, but once the NPCs spread out, it loses it's punch.
