[2022] Advice/help with Friend Referal AND buying the game for my friend

I do not believe that the version purchased will make a difference regarding the friend referral scheme. Once referred, you must complete 3 missions together in co-op in order to receive rewards. Could you please elaborate further on how your friend is unable to purchase the game?

We don't recommend your friend shares their account and you access it. This goes against our terms of service. If your friend is having difficulty purchasing the game, could you please recommend that they reach out and create a case through the Ubisoft Support website? Here, one of our specialists will be able to take a closer look into why this might be happening.

In this instance, I would recommend the owner of the Ubisoft account reach out and create a case through the Ubisoft Support website.
