I'm a somewhat casual player, usually playing solo or in a team of 2 with a buddy of mine. I'm not really interested in a complicated raid that will take hours to complete. However, I love the environment TD2 takes place in and I would love to explore the location. I purchased the game, I don't think it's too selfish to ask for a mission, stronghold, or some other alternative activity that would allow players the opportunity to explore the environment. Am I wrong for wanting this?

Hey Monty, welcome to the forums! This is a really cool suggestion that I actually haven't seen offered up so far. Though something to keep in mind is that while the Raid, for some people, is alluring because of its new story, new content, or new gear, for some players - yourself included it seems, the draw might be the new environment and setting. That is in no small part an aspect of the allure of the raid.

I would strongly encourage you to maybe look into the various Looking For Group channels we have available on these forums, our Discord, or unofficial routes like Reddit. I'm sure there are plenty of other players in a similar boat as you, and as the Raid becomes more familiar, you'll likely find more people able to run it without the entire team being optimized and perfectly interconnected.
