we have been discovered an issue by a friend of mine. He has been playing regularly exactly like me. He uses donate all junk just like me but since the 15.1 and it's backfill with expertise he had earned almost no points at all and through this he couldn't move forward with expertise level. So we did today morning a small experiment. He bought from vendor 6 pistols marked them as junk and then used the "donate all junk". And nothing have happened - just as always as he described earlier. So we looked deeper. He had lost the pistols and the pistol itself moved forward with its leveling of proficiency but on the expertise leveling it doesn't changed anything. It was earlier 97/200 on level 3 and after this whole action still 97/200. He then tried it once more but separate direct from the pistol one by one. Worked like a charm. So we discovered that he already lost many stuff because of the use of "donate all junk" and in the same time his gear pieces moved for with the leveling of proficiency but the leveling of expertise hasn't experienced any leveling.
At the second part of our experimenting I logged in from my Xbox with his account and tried the same process. With my Xbox the donate all junk worked as it had to.
Through this whole process and testing we are 100% sure since the last patch he had lost a bunch of stuff and still stays almost at the same level of expertise as before. He has right now proficient 27/343 but still at level 3 of expertise.
Our question is: is there any possibility to recalculate his level of expertise and proficiency or is it too late for him and his account has to stay a little messed up? Thanks
