Hello community,
I've played the division 2 for quite a while and when I tried to get back to it the last few days, I noticed that the game freezes about 5-10 minutes into the game. Sometimes in a mission, sometimes just as I am standing around. It seems to freeze and I have to wait 2-3 minutes for it to crash to desktop.
I have now tried DirectX 11 or 12, increasing the Swap file, reinstalling the game, reinstalling the uplay launcher lowering the graphics settings, starting with admin rights, starting directly without Uplay first. No I can play at least about 15-30 minutes. I have sent crash reports. My system is sufficient with an Intel i7 6700K, 1070GTX and 32GB Ram.
I am a bit annoyed as it makes the game literally unplayable.
Curious fact: these crashes also happened on another Windows built (exact same pc) so it seems to transcend drivers etc.
What else can you suggest?
Kindest regards!
Update: In the Windows Event Viewer I found this error at the time of the crash: "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered."
This indicates the driver. How can I fix that? I am already running the newest drivers.
