Hi all,

I have a annoying and frustrating problem with my game. After I start the game and logged in, the game crashes. It is totally random when it crashes. Mostly after about 10 - 20 minutes, but also after 2 or 3 ours. That's especially annoying when I'm online with a group and / or in the middle of a mission.

When the game crashes, there are some variations of it:
  • The game crashes to window mode (fullscreen window with window titled) while the "video" freezes and it streches to some kind of widescreen monitor resolution with backgroundmusic playing normally and environmental sounds (like gunfire) going into a loop.
  • The game remains in fullscreen with freezing video and music / sounds.

In all cases I have to fire up the Taskmanager and kill the game process. After that, I can restart the game and after logging in I either spawn in the next Safehouse / Base where the crash appeared or the mission / open world ist still running and I can continue (sometimes I see the "killscreen" and have to restart). When I'm in a group I have to be re-invited after allways spawning in the White House or Haven.

I tried to figure out if there is a game event I trigger bevor the game freezes. But it is totally random when it does. I checked \Tom Clancy's The Division 2\logs\uplay_crash_reporter.txt but it's empty. Within Uplay I have checked the gamefiles without getting an error. BUT: after i started the game there where some services beeing reinstalled like DirectX. After that (yesterday) I haven't had any problems with the game the whole day. Today it crashed again multiple time.

I also tried to turn off programms I have running in the background: Discord, Logitech G HUB, Nvidia Experience. No change.

My system: Intel Core i5-8400, 16 GB RAM, Nvidia RTX 2070, game installed on a "game-dedicated" Samsung 850 PRO SSD while Uplay is installed on the Windows NVMe. The PC is running Windows 10 Home 1909 (18363.1082), Windows Defender. All drivers are up to date.

Any suggestions, tricks, tweaks? My Plan-B is to reinstall the game, Plan-C reinstall Windows, but that is something I really don't want to do...
Thank you.
