I have my Alienware M15R4 less than an month, here is my specs:
-Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10870H CPU @ 2.20GHz
-NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU
-32GB Memory
-1TB SSD
-144 hz with G-sync and Advanced Optimus panel
However, when I played game like The Division 2(mainly played) , there were sometime the game would switch to windowed mode(I always played in full screen mode) and the whole game totally freeze. The audio in game still worked and I could call task manager with crt+alt+del but the task manager would be blocked by the game (overlap) and was unable to show up, then I had to press windows key to do a sign out and sign in again to close the freezing game.
Given the specs of my laptop, I assume I can set everything in ultra in The Division 2, and it did run very smoothly before the freeze happened(around 110 fps), temp between 71~81C, every driver is up to date, I also reinstalled drivers and reset windows, but the problem is still remain. Sometimes I can play 4~5 hrs without freezing while other times it only took 1hr to freeze(especially during the mission).
I ran dell preboot diagnostics and not getting any error code, which means my hardware all fine(I guess?). Could it be the software problem?
Pleas help me fix the issue! If you experienced same issues, any advice would be great.
