[2021] Framerate constantly dipping, started today

Played yesterday with no issues, no crashes just a dip in framerate every once in a while. Today I launched the game and it seems to be running at a constant 20-25 fps. Ran a benchmark test and got something like a 6180 with 70 fps. Went back in to the game and experienced the same laggy framerate, and the game crashed twice. Came out and verified files which reinstalled DirectX and tried again with the same framerate issue, but did not crash. Seems to dip in to the teens and single digits when there is a lot of action going on (right when I need it most, right?) but this has never happened before. No change in PC, monitor, mouse etc; just seemed to come out of nowhere. Is this something I need a support ticket for or is this something going on with the service?
