Before the Tidal Basin update I was having a blast. Now 220 hours in and I can barely stand it.

Before the update I was all skill focused and had around 8500 points into my build. I couldn't do a lot of gun damage or take tank-level damage but I could crowd control via the chem launcher and seekers. It felt good to be part of a group that were usually dps run and gun centered. Like I had a role to play in the squad.

Now there's no point. Skills are stomped into the ground. My dps AR build does SLIGHTLY less skill damage than my 4000 skill point build. I want my chem launcher 200% range back. Also I didn't know the multi seeker 'glitch' was a glitch at all. I thought it made sense to throw it out there and have multiple waves of seekers come out of it. I thought it was part of the +4-7 seekers mod that I needed a TON of skill points to use.

Now with the 8 man raid just over a week away, it's just going to be groups of 8 run and gun dps builds blasting through it. There are no healers, there are no tanks. I just don't see the point of even attempting to be anything else.

PLEASE fix the other builds and make diversity actually viable! Let people have shield builds, or healer builds, or crowd control builds etc. I want to be able to get ready for a raid and actually plan things out and have some fun with it.

We had a lot to say on the subject of skill builds here. It's the bottom section specifically. We want to make skill power builds more viable.
