[2020] Stuck On "Select Campaign" Screen

My friend just bought this game for me because they wanted to do the recruit a friend thing. I can't even start the game. It asks me to pick either the main campaign or the Warlords one and clicking either button below them just plays a sound and does nothing. No loading screen/symbol or anything.
