Hello to all

I purchased this game at release and well honestly it was way to hard solo, it was really hard getting groups to join and the game suffered AI wise.. I'm just wondering if the updates we've had maybe adjusted the game game some so solo customers like me can still enjoy the game now?

Is it worth reinstalling.. Also did the loots ever get any better after launch? A lot of stuff wasn't dropping and skills and gear was very lackluster..

There have been numerous changes to certain aspects of the difficulty in the game. Enemies have had behavioral changes such as fixing issues with aggression and reducing grenade spam - as well as flat out reductions such as melee damage, health, and armor. However higher level content has seen changes such as wider enemy variety on higher difficulties and tougher enemy scaling when in a group (and lower scaling while solo).

If the last time you played was 2 weeks out from launch, I would say you should find a comfortably challenging - but not brutally frustrating - solo experience ahead of you.

As for loot and skills, there have been fixes and slight changes to certain skill behavior, allowing more to be properly used. The loot and RNG remains a point of contention with many saying the loot climb slows to a crawl after WT5, especially when compared to the game up til that point. (With the path from 450-500 exacerbating that trend.)

Gear sets have each received minor positive tweaks, and while they seem to still not have as popular use as TD Gear Sets, I've seen at least some threads praising each of them as being unexpectedly enjoyable to use. That said, I imagine many would say the process to get them is a lot of effort for an oddly tangential reward.

Hope this helps as a catch-all-catch-up for your questions!
