This is now the third event where I can collect the final reward directly after the start without activating the event or any tasks. I have already tried in the German forum, but unfortunately my post there has been completely ignored for a week.

Just to make sure I have the right idea of what's happening here, can you grab a screenshot showing that that item is in your inventory after claiming it?
Also, if you have actually completed the event up to the point that you would typically be able to claim that item normally, were you able to claim it a second time?
